Do’s and Don’ts

Want to rejuvenate and boost your skin with confidence this winter? Check out these important guidelines to keep in mind when booking a paramedical tattooing service at Revive Skin Studios.

Do’s

Do - Practice proper hygiene: Regularly clean the treated area to prevent infections. It is crucial to use antiseptic soap. You can start washing the area a day after the procedure and continue until the skin forms a scab.

Do - Use recommended aftercare products: We provide every client with the appropriate aftercare healing products, along with verbal and written instructions. We also closely monitor your healing process and stay in touch through text, call, or DM.

Do - Avoid sun exposure: Protect the treated area from the sun for at least 60 days. Steer clear of the beach and pool during this period. We recommend using sunblock daily or wearing UV-protective clothing.

Do- Stay hydrated: Drinking enough water can speed up the healing process and promote cell regeneration. If your artist recommends it, you may also continue taking collagen supplements.

Don’ts

Do Not - Remove the scab: Within the first 7-14 days, a thin scab may form. Resist the urge to pick it off. The scab serves as a protective barrier against skin infections.

Do Not - Scratch at the treated skin: It’s normal to feel the need to scratch the treated area. Instead, gently pat the area, use a fan, or ice pack to cool it down if it feels warm.

Do Not - Drink alcohol or take blood thinning medications: Refrain from consuming alcohol or taking blood thinning medications within 24 hours of the treatment. These substances increase the risk of bleeding. Excessive bleeding during the healing process can affect the pigmentation and alter the desired color match.
